Three Lane Ends Farm
There are parts of the structure of the buildings here which appear to date back to the 16th Century, and so contemporary with Newton Old Hall. In 1758 the farm is listed as belonging to Mrs Richardson of Newton Old Hall. There have been many changes made to the structure since that time, including what is perhaps a Georgian period façade, hiding the 16th Century original features.
It is favoured as the home of Blackwell’s most prominent entrepreneur, Jedediah Strutt; click to see his story.
